Welcome to the unforgettable 4-day tour from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga! Prepare to embark on a mesmerizing journey through the diverse landscapes, ancient cities, and the stunning Sahara Desert. This adventure will immerse you in the rich culture, traditions, and natural beauty of Morocco.
Day 1: Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges (334KM)
Depart from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, towards Dades Valley, crossing the high pass of Tizi n’Tichka, photo stop with a panoramic view over the mountains, enjoying the scenic landscapes, we’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified mud-brick ksar, then we will continue the journey to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco, to explore its attractions such as the Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studio, we can drive through the Skoura Oasis, known for its lush palm groves, and ancient kasbahs, in the evening we’ll reach the Dades Gorges where you’ll admire the stunning rock formation, where you’ll have a dinner and spend the night.
After breakfast, we’ll continue the journey towards Merzouga via Todgha Gorges, known for its impressive rock formations, where we can take a leisur walk through the narrow canyons where you’ll marvel at its towering cliffs, then we’ll pass through the date capital of Erfoud , a town known for its fossil production, in the late afternoon we’ll reach Merzouga the silent area, where you’ll have time to relax and prepare for your desert adventure, in the evening expert a camel ride into the Sahara Desert, where you’ll have the opportunity to immers yourself in the breathtaking scenery of the dunes, after the sunset Reach your desert camp where you’ll enjoy a traditional dinner, and spend the night in a comfortable tent under the starry sky.
Wake up early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes, after breakfast, we’ll continue the journey towards Fes, we’ll drive through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and its panoramic views, we’ll drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we’ll enjoy the changing landscapes along the way, after 8hours, in the evening we’ll arrive in Fes, where you’ll check into your accommodation, and spend the night .
Day 4: Fes City Tour
We’ll spend the day exploring Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest and most fascinating imperial cities, we’ll visit its historical attractions, including the medieval Medina (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), we can also explore, the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, and the Royal Palace, then we’ll explore its vibrant souks (markets), where you’ll soak in the rich culture and its bustling atmosphere, in the evening, depart from Fes and conclude your 4-days-tour.
